Furnishing a home from scratch is usually a time consuming task. So when we were asked to furnish a townhouse and given two weeks to do it, we jumped at the chance! We wanted this three bedroom, three bath townhouse to feel like a welcoming and cozy retreat after a long day.

To keep consistency throughout the house, we kept to a neutral color palette of creams, browns and grays and accented the rooms with seafoam green and gold. We used light colored fabric drapes to allow for lots of natural light and heavier fabric throws to add visual "weight" to the room.

We chose some fun wall art which included enlarged newspaper headline prints, a semi abstract letterpress piece and a print with Houston street names. It was the perfect way to add some history and a modern touch to the rooms.

In the end, we were able to meet the deadline and the client was thrilled with how it came together. Do you think you would have been able to complete the task? Let us know in the comments below.
